About Constable Leone

Serving as Constable is one of the complex aspects of law enforcement. The constable has the heavy responsibility of evicting delinquent tenants while compassionately offering a helping hand to allow those who fall on tough times to exit with grace and hope. It’s a delicate dance, but one that Constable Allen Leone, Jr. has mastered.

Allen gained experience in property management and real estate as a partner at Keller Williams Realty. His passion for protecting the integrity of neighborhoods by preserving property values and his strong interest in law enforcement led him to the unique marriage of both – the Office of Constable. Allen became a Deputy Constable in 2015, rose to Chief Deputy Constable, and within two years, assumed the role of Constable of Justice of the Peace District Five. In 2018, Constable Leone won the election for the office of Constable by garnering over 63 percent of the vote and carried every precinct in the district.

Allen is a graduate of Spring Hill College, St. Stanislaus High school, and St. Clement of Rome School in Metairie. He is married to Lindsay Gelpi Leone and has four children. Allen remains active today as both a parishioner and a member of the St. Clement of Rome Men’s Club. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and supports its charitable activities. He is an elected member of both the Republican Parish Executive Committee and the Republican State Central Committee.

Constable Leone was trained by the Attorney General and is well-versed in the laws of:

  • The Justice of the Peace Court

  • Human trafficking

  • Illegal narcotics

  • Garnishments

  • Evictions
